Please carefully read the following terms and conditions, as they bind you with the Merchant, owner of the Site. By using the Site, you also agree to electronic communication with the Merchant for all exchanges, and acknowledge that such communications meet all requirements of written communication.

We reserve the full discretion to refuse to serve you, cancel an order, close your account, delete or modify the content of the Site, or cancel an order, whether or not you have complied with these Terms and Conditions.

Accuracy of Information

We do everything in our power to ensure that all information published on our Site is accurate, but we cannot guarantee this. We may refuse or cancel an order containing an item with an incorrect description or price. Unless otherwise indicated, prices are listed in Canadian currency.

Products offered on our Site, as well as offer dates, prices, availability, features, and technical specifications, are subject to revision and change without notice. It is possible that a product ordered online may no longer be available in our inventory or cannot be delivered due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, the order will be canceled, and any amounts paid will be refunded if applicable.

Your only remedy in the event of a product description discrepancy is to return the item in its original packaging for a refund, in accordance with the refund provisions outlined below.


Registration and Password

You will need to complete a registration form to access certain sections and features of the Merchant’s Site. You agree to provide up-to-date and accurate information and to keep this information updated at all times.

You agree to protect the confidentiality of your username and password, as well as access to your computer, to ensure no one else uses them. You are responsible for all transactions made through your account using this information. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your username and password or any security breach you become aware of, and no later than forty-eight (48) hours after becoming aware of such a situation.


Comments

You may post comments and reviews related to the content of the Site. You are fully responsible for the comments you post. We are not responsible for them, and you agree to indemnify the Merchant against any damages arising from them.

It is prohibited to impersonate others, conceal your identity, or post illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content, or content that infringes on the privacy or intellectual property rights of others. Chain letters, mass mailings, or spam are also prohibited.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to edit or remove comments without explanation, and we assume no responsibility for systematically reviewing published content.

By posting a comment, you grant the Merchant the non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use the name and content you publish, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, translate, distribute, publicly communicate, and display it worldwide and on any medium.

We ask that you post only one review per product, unless you have new information to add. You agree to only comment on products you have personally tried and to maintain a respectful tone at all times. Employees and competitors of distributors and manufacturers are prohibited from posting comments.


Governing Laws

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec or of Canada, as applicable. Furthermore, any legal proceedings against the Merchant must be brought before the judicial district in which the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion is located.


Order Errors

If you believe an error occurred when placing an order, please notify us without delay, but no later than 48 hours after discovery, by sending an email to info@jacaroupuzzles.com with sufficient details of the error.


Delivery and Returns

Unless you select a specific carrier and delivery time during the transaction (for which additional fees may apply), the delivery method and carrier will be determined by the Merchant. Delivery times depend on your location.

We commit to delivering your purchases within a reasonable time, subject to the availability of carriers used by the shipper, who are solely responsible for delivering the purchased products or services.

The risk of loss and transfer of ownership of purchased goods or services passes to you when they are handed over to the carrier. If goods cross an international border, this risk is transferred to you after customs clearance.


Delivery

All our puzzles will be delivered directly to your door. Shipping fees are based on actual costs we pay and depend on weight and distance. Based on these parameters, orders are usually delivered within 2 to 5 business days. We strive to choose the best possible shipping price.

Deliveries do not require a signature upon receipt. If you believe you cannot receive the package and there is no secure location to leave it, please provide us with another address. If you prefer delivery to a depot of one of our carriers, additional fees may apply.

If you experience an issue related to a delivery without signature, you must contact us by email at info@jacaroupuzzles.com or by phone at 450.218.0610 so we can find a solution. We cannot be held responsible if the package is left at your door and later lost, but we will attempt to investigate and resolve the issue as best as possible. Please understand that we also pay for shipping and are in the same position as a customer with our carriers.


Delivery in Canada

Shipping is free in Quebec on purchases of $85 or more before taxes. Fixed shipping fees within Quebec are $14.99. The normal delivery time is 2 to 5 business days. You will receive a tracking number by email.

(Except for northern regions. Free delivery is offered in Quebec only. Prices are subject to change without notice.)

⚠️ Some regions of Quebec are excluded from our delivery area, including northern regions. If the system still accepts a free or flat-rate shipping transaction, we will cancel the order and refund the transaction.

Order Processing

Most in-stock orders are shipped within 48 hours from Monday to Friday. Orders placed on holidays or weekends will be processed the next business day. You will receive an email with tracking information according to the carrier selected.

Orders are shipped from our warehouse in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada. If you have other questions about shipping and handling, please contact us.

Delivery times:

  • Regional: 2–3 days (Quebec and Ontario)

  • National: 2–7 days (between Canadian cities, e.g., Montreal–Vancouver)

  • USA: 4–10 business days depending on the region (shipments to the United States are sent via UPS; U.S. Customs generally applies brokerage fees on shipments, which are the buyer’s responsibility and must be paid to the U.S. carrier).


Unsuccessful Delivery

In the event of an unsuccessful delivery by one of our carriers, the products will be returned to us. Return shipping fees are non-refundable. If you would like us to resend the items, additional charges will apply.


Delivery to a Third Party

You may have a purchase delivered directly to another person at no additional cost.

At checkout, simply enter your own address in the “billing address” field (where the invoice will be sent), and the recipient’s address in the “shipping address” field.


Inventory Discrepancies

Despite our careful attention to inventory, discrepancies may occur for which we are not responsible. This issue may cause an item to appear available for sale online when it is not actually in stock. If this occurs with your order, a customer service agent will contact you to inform you of the missing item and see if you would like to add a replacement product to still benefit from free shipping promotions, for example.

Copyrights and trademarks contained in the information published on the Site are protected by intellectual property laws and are made available on the Site under a specific license.

Under applicable intellectual property laws, it is prohibited to use, display, or exhibit any trademark, copyright, or other protected work accessible on the Site for any reason other than for the sale of these products and services, and you may not grant sublicenses to third parties. Owners of trademarks appearing on the Site retain all rights not expressly granted under these Terms and Conditions.

If you believe that infringements of these Terms and Conditions have been committed, or if your work has been copied or used on our Site in a way that infringes on your intellectual property rights, please notify us as soon as possible by sending an email to jacaroupuzzles@videotron.ca with sufficient details of the infringement.
